The Bluewater Festival attracts thousands of visitors to the Shorncliffe Pier & Moora Park, Sandgate on Good Friday of each year to take advantage of the best waterfront views for the start of Australia’s second biggest Yacht Race ‘The Brisbane to Gladstone’ which has been held annually at Easter since 1949. Apr 14th - Redcliffe Festival of Sails

The Redcliffe Festival of Sails is a colourful, seaside carnival running in conjunction with the annual Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race. Global Fiesta will be held on Saturday 13 May 2017 in the picturesque setting of Queens Park in Ipswich Central commencing at 2pm and concluding 8pm. Once again Yeronga State School is gearing up for another Fete and is set to be one of the best fetes ever hosted by the Yeronga State School P&C Association. From its small beginning the Mudgeeraba Show has progressed to a two day event, crammed with Horse events, handicrafts, horticultural exhibits, cooking and preserves, woodchop, Ute Muster, cattle, sheep, fireworks and carnival rides to name but a few and a wide variety to entertainment to suit everyone. July 1 : Teneriffe Festival

Every July, the Teneriffe Festival enlivens and transforms the suburb with a bold celebration of the community and everything from the past right through to the future that makes it unique. The fun, atmosphere and excitement of RACQ MotorFest will return to Eagle Farm Racecourse, Ascot on Sunday, 9 July 2017. And, as always, the event promises to have something for everyone. Jul 29 : Jindalee State School Fete

Over the years the Jindalee State School fete has become one of the largest annual events across the Centenary and Western Suburbs, and this year the event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. Jul 29 : Red Hill Fair

Join us, Saturday 29th July 2017, for the 35th Red Hill Fair. The Fair is an iconic community event for Red Hill, Paddington, Ashgrove and surrounds, attracting over 8,000 people each year. Prepare yourself for a fun filled day full of rides, great entertainment, petting zoo, trash & treasure, raffles, awesome Merlo coffee, burgers, a bar and heaps of great stalls. Plus this year there will be close to 1000 gourmet treats, cakes, slices, chutneys and jams lovingly baked by the mums, dads, grandparents and caring community of the kids at Red Hill Kindy. Aug 5th : Buderim Street Party

Buderim Street Party! This is the night Buderim comes alive with a massive party in the main street of the Village. The Buderim Street Party is organised by the Buderim Lions in conjunction with Buderim Rotary and is a much-loved annual event. Local community groups, performing artists of all types and loads of different street food vendors team up with many different activities in Burnett Street, the Woolies carpark and surroundings of the Buderim Village. There is a stage for rocking bands, but music lovers will be treated to many different types of musicians. Aug 5th : Good Shepherd Lutheran College Fair

The Good Shepherd Lutheran College's big day of fun and fundraising is being held on Saturday, August 5. The Shepherd's Fair has established itself as an annual highlight with its traditional combination of rides, games, stalls, raffles, silent auction and more.
